Premiership new-boys Queens Park Rangers could have new owners in place shortly following a statement on their official website. The statement confirmed that the potential buyer was not the same one that had showed interest in March.
"The Company has entered into preliminary discussions with a different party," the statement said.
"Accordingly the Company confirms that is it no longer in an offer period. We will be making no further comment at stage."
