QPR striker Charlie Austin has revealed that he turned down a move to a Premier League club in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old was constantly linked with a move back to England's top flight after scoring 18 goals for the relegated R's last term but ultimately decided to stay put at Loftus Road.
He told talkSPORT: "I turned down a move [to the Premier League] which wasn't right for me and my family.
"I didn't feel it was right for me to go, so I stayed at QPR."
Austin was heavily linked with Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and West Ham United while Manchester United also reportedly showed interest late in the window.
