QPR striker Charlie Austin says he won't allow England talk to affect his form.
Austin has been tipped for an England call up later this month.
He told the London Evening Standard: "I think I have to (ignore the England talk) just because I need to be level headed and grounded.
"I need to keep scoring goals for QPR, that's the main thing and to keep them in the Premier League. If I score goals, then that will go a long way for it to happen. Then who knows what will happen in the future.
"At the moment I have one job and that is to try my best to keep QPR in the Premier League.
"Of course it (England) would be an amazing chapter in my career. If the chance comes along, then I'd take it, but I have a lot more work to do yet."
