Qatar Sport Investments are in takeover talks with Cagliari.
L'Unione Sarda says the Qataris have opened negotiations with Cagliari owner Massimo Cellino about buying the club.
It is reported that negotiations are ongoing for a buyout of a majority of Cellino's shares at a price set between 70m and 80m.
