The Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Qatar Shell have agreed a wide-ranging sponsorship deal, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The four-year agreement will see the Qatari arm of the Netherlands-headquartered firm become a sponsor of Qatar's national football teams at senior and junior levels.
It was announced at the opening day of the 2013 Aspire4Sport Congress at Qatar's Aspire Dome Doha.
Shell has sponsored the Emir Cup, Qatar's domestic club cup, for eight years. As part of that tie-up, Shell and the QFA launched a youth-orientated corporate social responsibility initiative, called Koora Time, earlier in 2013.
