Qatar coach Bruno Metsu believes his team is good enough to bounce back from the 4-0 loss to Uzbekistan on the weekend.
The Qataris need a win to keep their World Cup hopes alive and Metsu is adamant it can be achieved against Bahrain in Manama on Wednesday.
Despite injuries to key players, the Frenchman has faith in squad's ability.
"We lost the game against Uzbekistan due to unfamiliar circumstances," said Metsu.
"The injury of Marconi Amaral and Bilal Rajab's red card played a major role in that defeat.
"Despite the defeat to Uzbekistan, we still have a chance to qualify for the World Cup as we can still get third place in the group.
"We have no other option but to win the game against Bahrain if we want to get the third place in the group and have a chance to qualify," he added.
"We will work on the mistakes that led to the defeat to Uzbekistan."
