The three-year deal sees Puma become the official apparel supplier to the state soccer governing body.

Puma will supply apparel and equipment to Football NSW to support its programmes to promote the growth and development of soccer in the region.

As a result of the deal, exclusive rates and offers on Puma team wear for Football NSW branches, associations and clubs will be available through Football NSW's store The Football Corner.

The head of marketing and sponsorship at Football NSW, Adam Dennison, said: "Attracting an international brand is testament to the huge growth we're seeing in playing numbers around the state.

"The unprecedented growth of soccer is now resonating commercially and the opportunities that we can offer our members as a result will hopefully enhance the overall football experience.

"The management team at Puma have been very proactive and I really do foresee a great relationship that will further promote football in this country."

Puma head of team wear Oceania, Jason Jacoby, said: "This is a great opportunity to bring our product to the grassroots soccer market. We are very excited about our partnership with Football NSW as the combination of the two companies is strong and quite unique.

"With our heritage and strength alongside Football NSW it points to a good relationship which we hope will continue for many years to come."
