Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis wants to make Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes his first signing at Selhurst Park.

The Mirror says Pulis is ready to make a £6million move for Blackburn Rovers goal machine Rhodes as he looks to beat the drop.

Eagles chief Pulis has been promised a kitty and is looking for players who can help him in the Premier League but also lead a promotion charge next season.

Pulis agreed his deal at Palace before the win at Hull City and also quickly dispatched a spy to see Rhodes against Reading.
