Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has urged fans not to get carried away with their flying start to the season.
Saturday's 1-0 win over Liverpool left the Potters fourth in the table and still unbeaten in eight Premier League and Europa League games this term.
"We have started well, but are not going to take anything for granted," he told The Sentinel.
"We are 32 points from safety. We certainly can't take our Premier League status for granted because any side can beat you on any given day.
"People are starting to say nice things about us, but they probably don't like what is happening.
"But football can change very quickly, so we have to keep our feet on the ground and make sure the players do likewise."
