Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis admits Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes may be out of their price range.
Pulis has played down the talk, stating the club do not have the money that the 23-year-old would command.
"We'll get linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry from now until the end of the window," Pulis told talkSPORT.
"But the answer is no, we couldn't afford Jordan Rhodes. The business that we do will determine what sort of run we can have second half of the season."
