Pulis: Stoke fans playing massive role

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis paid tribute to the Brit fans after their 1-1 draw with Hull.

Pulis said: "I think the supporters play a massive part in their attitude towards the team.

"The fact that we're in the Premier League for the first time in 24 years has really gripped them, and they do push the players along, without doubt.

"The first 10 minutes in the second half was the loudest, which was brilliant because that's when we needed them. You're thinking the crowd could get restless but they never did.

"It was a real kick in the teeth to come in with them scoring that late in the first half. But we were brilliant in the second half. These lads never, never give up."
