Stoke City signing Jonathan Woodgate is in line for a competitive debut against Hajduk Split.
The first leg of their Europa League tie could see the return of Woodgate, who has made himself available for the tie and is part of the squad, despite having had just one run-out, at Aldershot.
Manager Tony Pulis said: "Jon has put himself up to play. I'm not sure whether we will start him but he is definitely in the squad.
"I'm desperate to get him playing because, if we can get him fit, he's one of the best centre halves in the league."
