Stoke City boss Tony Pulis insists it's too soon to discuss a permanent deal for Aston Villa striker John Carew.

Carew has joined Stoke on-loan to the end of the season.

Pulis told Absolute Radio: "I've not spoken to John about that at all.

"The only thing I've spoke about to John is making sure that he enjoys his three months, four months here."
