Pulis to hold Crystal Palace talks

Tony Pulis will hold talks with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish this week regarding his future at the club.

The Welshman has completed a brilliant turnaround at Selhurst Park since replacing Ian Holloway in November last year, guiding the south London club into 11th position and to Premier League safety.

Despite Pulis' successful time at the helm, he has yet to sort his long-term future with the Eagles, but says he will soon sort it out with Parish when they get together this week.

"I don't know, I haven't heard anything else," Pulis told Sky Sports when asked of his current position following Monday night's 3-3 draw with Liverpool.

"We're having a chat on Wednesday or Thursday me and Steve and just have a night together where we can sit down and talk about everything.

"The club is a smashing club, it's got fantastic support and fantastic potential, but it's a way behind what it should be. But that was the same situation at Stoke.

"I had a magnificent chairman there in Peter Coates who backed me and allowed me to build the football club up for seven, eight years. That's what you want, the backing and let people do your job. You get paid to do your job, and I enjoy doing this job."
