Stoke boss Tony Pulis is simply content to beat the drop this season. The Potters currently sit eighth in the Premier League table with 20 points from 15 games having secured a 1-1 home draw against Manchester City on Saturday.
Their recent good form has prompted talk of a push for Europe amongst supporters.
Pulis, however insists his sole focus remains ensuring the Potters' survival in the top flight for another year.
"I've always said that it was a three-year plan coming into the Premier League," said Pulis.
"If we maintain Premier League status for a third year, then we can really push on."
