Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis was pleased with their performance in defeat to Brentford.
Palace fell 3-2 to friendly opponents Brentford yesterday.
Goals from Glenn Murray and Marouane Chamakh gave the Palace fans something to cheer about and Pulis said: "We've just come off the plane 48 hours ago we needed a good run out and we knew this would be a good run out. Brentford played really well.
"The game got stretched which again was good for us.
"It was end to end stuff and I thought our boys worked their socks off today. It was a good game for them, a really good game."
