West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis wants to keep hold of Claudio Yacob.
The Argie was on the way out under former Baggies manager Alan Irvine.
But the Daily Star Sunday says Pulis hopes to tie up Yacob, 27, on a new three-year deal.
The midfielder is out of contract in June.
