Stoke City boss Tony Pulis hopes to add to his squad in the final fortnight of the winter market.
Pulis wants to bring in a couple of new signings to freshen up his side during the January transfer window.
"I'm looking to bring a few in - we'll do our best. I don't think we'll be doing business until the back end of the window, as that's when the best deals get done," he said.
"We're just looking to bring in players that can give the squad a lift. There is a tendency to drop off as the amount of games and the weather drags you down.
"We need a bit of a spark or a lift. I'd take two loans without blinking an eyelid if they were the right ones."
