Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has denied claims that he is in pursuit of Danish duo Andreas Bjelland and Simon Makienok.

Reports have suggested that the Eagles are after 25-year old FC Twente centre-back Bjelland and 23-year old Brondby striker Makienok but Pulis insists he has never heard of the players.

"I don't even know them," Pulis said. "If you said there's £1million if you knew what position they played in, I wouldn't have a clue."
