Pulis delighted with genuine Stoke keeper battle

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits he has a genuine goalkeeping battle on his hands.

Asmir Begovic is currently Pulis' No1, with Thomas Sorensen now fit and waiting in the wings.

"Asmir has been very good since Thomas got injured and Thomas is going to have to be patient," said Pulis.

"You're going to have to have a bus knocking him over for Asmir to get injured and risk losing his place.

"But if Asmir's form dips and Thomas gets back in, I don't think you'll see Thomas getting injured again because he knows we have a good, young competitive goalkeeper in Asmir."
