Stoke boss Tony Pulis is considering letting Diego Arismendi leave on loan in the hope the midfielder can remain in the English game. Arismendi joined the Potters in the summer of 2009 in a £2.6million deal from Uruguayan Primera Division side Club Nacional.
With the emergency window shutting on March 24, Pulis believes Arismendi's performance during the 1-0 Europa League defeat against Valencia at the Mestalla will encourage clubs to come in for the 24-year-old.
"I don't know why, but hopefully last week's performance in Valencia will have been noticed.
"Diego was great and he did well at Besiktas in his other start."
Arismendi has just over a year left on his current contract at the Britannia Stadium and Pulis added: "He has got time and he has got the talent." "He needs to be playing league football," said Pulis. "And we have been disappointed we couldn't get him out on loan.
