Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has confirmed that Brek Shea will head to England to train with the club.
The 22-year old FC Dallas winger has been linked with a permanent move to the Britannia Stadium but Pulis made it clear that he the USA international would instead make his way to Staffordshire to trial with the Potters.
"A year ago he was touted as the next great thing in America. I think he's fallen off the rails a little bit in some respects - I don't know why," Pulis told BBC Radio.
"I went to France last year to see him play for America. So we've got a chance to look at him - he's coming over and we'll see what we think."
