West Brom boss Tony Pulis admits they priced Jonny Evans out of a move away this summer.
The Northern Ireland international attracted interest from Arsenal and Manchester City towards the end of the window, while Leicester were also said to be keen.
Pulis said, “If Arsenal or Man City had met the valuation it could've been different. He has to get his head down and get on with it."
And now Pulis is keen to tie Evans down to a new contract.
"I hope we can offer him a new contract and tie him down, we will speak next week about what Jonny is thinking and what he wants to do."
