Tony Pulis has a substantial chance of departing West Bromwich Albion in the coming days, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Chinese businessman Gouchuan Lai is on the verge of purchasing a major stake at West Brom in the coming days and this has put the future of manager Pulis in real doubt.
Pulis has recently come out to state that he will not be resigning from his post as manager despite the uncertainty surrounding his future but the Star have gone on to claim that there is a 50% chance that the 58-year-old will be leaving The Hawthorns in the coming days.
Pulis was absent from Albion's friendly with Indian club Delhi Dynamos on Saturday, instead spending the day in London with his family, but it is understood he will not walk out on the Baggies unless he is told to leave.
The Welshman, who resigned as Crystal Palace manager not long before the 2014/15 season kicked off, is reported to be unhappy with the way the club operated during the transfer window and has had some differences with chairman John Williams.
