Chelsea skipper John Terry has seen his planned book put on the backburner.
The Daily Mail says HarperCollins, who have a seven-figure contract with Terry for his autobiography, have decided to wait until the end of his playing career before bringing out the book.
There has been in-house debate about the best time to publish Terry's book since it was shelved after England's dismal 2010 World Cup showing, along with the second instalment in Wayne Rooney's five-book deal.
But the huge sensitivities around Terry's career for club and country - with him facing trial in July for alleged racist comments made to Anton Ferdinand - have led to his explosive life story only seeing the light when the Chelsea and England defender hangs up his boots.
