Psycho wants to take Arsenal ace Wilshere to U21 Euros

England U21 coach Stuart Pearce wants to take Arsenal playmaker Jack Wilshere to the Euros next year.

England U21 coach Stuart Pearce wants to take Arsenal playmaker Jack Wilshere to the Euros next year.

Pearce thinks Wilshere — fighting back to fitness after an ankle injury — would benefit more from playing for the Young Lions at the Euro 2013 finals in Israel in June.

Psycho said: “Jack is 20 but because of his injury and whatever, he has not had a major tournament with England yet.

“I don’t know when the next opportunity will be for him — next summer, the summer after?

“The more tournament football these boys get, the more it prepares them for the senior team and it also gives us the chance to vie for a major trophy at under-21 level.”
