Nottingham Forest legend Stuart Pearce is set to return to the City Ground.
Former Manchester City boss Pearce has been out of work since being sacked as England Under-21 boss last June, says the Daily Star.
But he is now in line for a romantic return to the City Ground where he enjoys cult status.
Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi is in advanced talks and expects to make an announcement in the next 24 hours.
