PSV Eindhoven signing Luciano Narsingh has revealed he told Oussama Assaidi to make the move to Liverpool last week.

The pair are good friends and ended last season at Heerenveen.

"Oussama called me to ask what he should do with the interest of Ajax and Liverpool," said Narsingh. "I said, that if he had to choose between Ajax and Liverpool, he had to choose Liverpool.

"Apparently he listened!"
