PSV Eindhoven are refusing to dump goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, despite the Brazilian's outburst.

Gomes is a £12 million target for Arsenal and Tottenham and launched a scathing attack on management this week.

"The club considers the remarks and tone totally unacceptable and will therefore take appropriate measures," said PSV in a statement.

"PSV has always been extremely pleased with the performance of goalkeeper Gomes. As with previous contract renewals, the club would like for Gomes to stay for a long time with PSV. "
