PSV Eindhoven were willing to make Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes the highest paid player in Holland.
Voetbal International says PSV were offering a five-year contract worth €2 million-a-season, which would have made the Brazilian the best paid in the competition.
But Spurs have so far refused to sell the keeper.
It's also suggested Gomes would insist on €2.5 million-a-year to leave White Hart Lane.
