PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay has met face-to-face with Liverpool officials about a move to Anfield. The Sunday Express says Depay flew to the North West last week to speak to Anfield officials who have agreed a £20 million fee with the newly crowned Dutch champions.

It's understood that he was impressed with Liverpool's ambitions and the fact that he is clearly wanted on Anfield.

The 21-year-old has also had talks with Paris Saint-Germain who have promised to outbid any other club and offer the biggest wages to the World Cup player.

But the forward would prefer to play in the Premier League.
