PSV Eindhoven midfielder Steven Bergwijn has been urged to think carefully about his next move.

The Holland international has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham this season.

And his former Jong PSV coach Darije Kalezic says: "I really think of him as an example for many. Besides his talent, he is enormously polite to everyone and always curious, this I noticed. He wants to improve himself and has peace in his mind.

"If Steven makes the next step after this season, I would look for a club of the calibre where Memphis now plays (Lyon). Directly to the absolute top, that is so incredibly difficult.

"I think Steven does have the talent to get there, but I would still consider a gradual career development, as Georginio Wijnaldum did."
