PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman is on Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson's shopping list.
The Sunday Times says Ferguson is seeking a midfield partner for the in-form Michael Carrick.
And among his targets is Strootman, who has been watched by Ferguson's brother, Martin, United's chief scout, this season.
