PSV Eindhoven midfielder Marco van Ginkel does retain hope of making it at parent club Chelsea.
The Dutchman is again starring on-loan with PSV this season.
Chelsea loan chief Paulo Ferreira saw PSV's win over Heracles Almelo (3-0) in October.
"That was a good timing," Van Ginkel told Algemeen Dagblad. "It may well be that Chelsea only likes me for the trade, but still: they do not give the impression that they're forgetting about me.
"I did not come to PSV until after the winter break, like the previous two times, and it is also clear which direction my development is going on as a midfielder: being a link player, it suits me best."
