PSV Eindhoven insists there's been no fresh approach from Newcastle United for goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet.

Zoet has been linked with a January move to the Toon.

But a PSV spokesman told The Journal: "The step-by-step plan we had with Jeroen is going well and the club are satisfied with his development.

"All these questions have not arisen.

"These points mentioned in the English media have not been brought up."
