PSV Eindhoven left-back Jeremie Brechet is interesting Hull City.

The Mirror says the 29-year-old's has been told he can leave the Dutch club just a year after signing from Sochaux.

But with the French defender known to be unhappy living in Holland because his family are homesick, it appears he would prefer a switch to his native France.

PSV have denied receiving an offer from his former club Sochaux, but have confirmed he can leave for a suitable fee.

"Jeremie is a fantastic guy and a good professional" said PSV director Jan Reker told De Telegraaf.

"We have told him that we are willing to co-operate, but we will not let him go for free."
