PSV Eindhoven defender Hector Moreno has issued an apology to Luke Shaw following his tackle which resulted in a horror leg break for the Manchester United man.
United lost 2-1 to Dutch champions PSV in their Champions League opener on Tuesday night but rather than the final result, what would have been more worrying was the horror double fracture suffered by left-back Shaw.
Mexico international Moreno's reckless tackle looks set to rule out Shaw for at least six months and the defender has now issued an apology to the 20-year old for causing the injury.
