PSV Eindhoven coach Phillip Cocu is delighted with their deal for Marco van Ginkel.

The Chelsea midfielder has joined on-loan to June and scored on debut in PSV's friendly win over SC Freiburg on Sunday.

Cocu stated: "Marco played a fine game. In the beginning, he had to take some getting used to us. Then you see that he has experience, so he quickly adjusted.

"Marco has qualities that we can use very well. And there are now more choices for us.

"If he wants to make a step further than PSV, he needs to prove himself in games."
