PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali is being linked with Arsenal. Gunners scouts have been watching Bakkali in the opening weeks of the new season.
Asked about Arsenal's interest, PSV chief Marcel Brands insisted: "There is nothing known to me. There has been one report. This crazy thing always comes after players play two good games.
"There's been nothing from any interested club."
Bakkalai famously turned down a move to Manchester City to sign pro terms with PSV two years ago.
