PSV Eindhoven chief Marcel Brands has floated the prospect of working with Chelsea and Manchester City to bring more players on-loan.

Brands admits speaking with bigger clubs to 'jointly' sign players for the benefit of both.

"Big clubs are struggling with a surplus of players. The offer to loan players is huge. We want to loan a few players, but not four or five.

"Investing together can be interesting for both parties," he told Voetbal International.

"We'll see if we can build some creative alliances. I've talked to a lot clubs who have a large network. "
