PSV Eindhoven chief Marcel Brands hopes to keep hold of Memphis Depay for another season.

PSV coach Philipp Cocu has stated he expects the winger to be sold this summer.

But Brands says: "What I'm thinking is he's probably still a year away from being ready to leave PSV. Memphis is obviously an incredible natural talent.

"I think he can make big steps here. But I understand that if there are really big clubs, he goes. When he goes to a big club like Bayern Munich or Manchester United, it will work.

"There is so much incredible talent in him and with the right focus he can go far."
