PSV Eindhoven chief Marcel Brands says they want to keep hold of Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel.

The Dutchman joined PSV on-loan in January and was able to recapture his best form.

"Buying him is likely to be difficult," Brands conceded to Eindhoven Dagblad. "But there is the possibility to loan him for a season.

"Marco's last season proved to be a great addition to the team in the second half of the year."

Brands thinks Van Ginkel would benefit from a full season with PSV.

"I think he should stay in Eindhoven one more season and then he can take another step."
