PSV Eindhoven have sounded out Manchester City about Karim Rekik's situation.

After his successful loan, PSV are desperate not to lose the young defender and hope to extend his stay into next season.

Eindhoven Dagblad says PSV have even asked City to name their price for Rekik, who has just over a year to run on his current deal.

City management rate Rekik highly and have plans to loan him to either a Premier League rival or Bundesliga club next season.

For his part, Rekik would welcome a return to PSV.
