PSG are ready to splash out big to land Chelsea defender David Luiz.

The Mail on Sunday says PSG are hoping to sign Luiz this summer for £38million.

Chelsea are ready to offload Luiz and a move to sell the Brazil centre half to Barcelona as Carles Puyol's replacement has long been in the pipeline.

But the transfer ban imposed by FIFA on Barcelona has thrown that and many other projected signings and sales by the Catalan club into confusion.
