PSG whizkid Mbappe wants Real Madrid move; seeks Perez forgiveness

PSG whizkid Kylian Mbappe has relayed a message to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez seeking forgiveness.

Mbappe famously turned down Perez last summer when choosing to leave Monaco, instead opting to join PSG. However, the youngster's intermediaries have been in recent contact with Perez to alert him of the striker's interest in playing for Real.

Mbappe is on-loan at PSG and there has been speculation in France that a permanent deal could be off due to UEFA's financial fair play laws.

Diario Gol says Mbappe has admitted he was wrong to reject Real last year and has pleaded for forgiveness from Perez. He has also made it clear there would be no demands of playing guarantees and that he'd be happy to work around first-choice striker Cristiano Ronaldo. Mbappe's minders have also made Real coach Zinedine Zidane aware that he is eager to work with his fellow Frenchman.

For Perez and Zidane, Mbappe's U-turn is welcome as they seek a player of his type to dovetail into an attacking system which features Ronaldo as it's primary centre-forward.

There's a confidence inside Real that Mbappe can be brought to Madrid for €180m - a much cheaper proposition to the price it would take to sign his PSG teammate, Neymar.
