Celtic signing Moussa Dembele has revealed that he turned down clubs like PSG and Tottenham in order to join the Hoops.
The 19-year-old striker was strongly linked with a move to Spurs in January, but the North London club failed to reach an agreement with his former club Fulham over a potential transfer.
There was also interest from his academy club PSG but Dembele opted to join the Scottish champions instead.
He said: "I had contact with PSG. There were many clubs in Europe, but Celtic was the first option.
"In January, it was between Fulham and Tottenham to get an agreement and they didn't.
"Thankfully for me that worked out well as I'm now a Celtic player.
"At the time it was disappointing because you don't know what is going to happen in the future.
"Now, though, I have to be grateful because this is a better opportunity for me."
