PSG will test Barcelona's resolve in the coming days with a €90m offer for Ivan Rakitic.

Sport says PSG will first make the offer and seek Barca's response before stepping up talks over personal terms with Rakitic.

While in contact with the player's camp, PSG do not wish to make a contract proposal until they know Barca are willing to sell.

For the past ten days PSG have been making enquiries and they're now ready to make a firm bid.

Rakitic's contract carries a €125m buyout clause, but PSG believe an offer of €90m is a more than generous assessment.
