Paris Saint-Germain are set to rival Manchester City in the pursuit of Belgian midfielder Kevin de Bruyne.

City will have to pay a big fee for De Bruyne if they are to beat the French champions to the Wolfsburg star.

The fee could be in the region of £50million to ensure the signature of the 24-year old and the French club are reportedly ready to go head-to-head with City in order to land De Bruyne.

Wolfsburg, however, are determined to do all they can to keep the former Chelsea player and have opened talks with De Bruyne's representatives over extending his deal, despite the Belgium international being under contract until 2019.
