PSG threaten to wreck Man City plans for Sagna

PSG have made a late bid for Arsenal fullback Bacary Sagna.

Sagna announced last week he was leaving Arsenal, with Manchester City favourites for the France international.

However, L'Equipe says PSG will now compete with City for the right-back, whose contract expires this month.

Sagna has verbally agreed terms with City, but nothing is yet signed, so leaving the door open to PSG to make a counter offer.

PSG are also interested in Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves, but the lack of fee needed to land Sagna makes him an attractive alternative.
