PSG target Di Maria determined to put horror debut Man Utd season behind him

Angel Di Maria is intent on turning his Manchester United career around rather than leaving in the summer.

The Argentine winger joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid for £59.7million last summer but has struggled in his debut campaign at Old Trafford.

With reports suggesting French giants Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a play for his services, Di Maria has made it clear that he wants to put his poor debut season in England behind him and achieve success with United.

"I'm not happy with my first year in England," he said.

"I moved here from Real to win titles and this season has been very bad for me. I'm frustrated because I want to do better.

"The fans in England have not seen the real Di Maria. I know I can offer a better level. This year was not good enough."
